Our client, the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care (WAPC) is pleased to announce the receipt of a 5-year grant of nearly $1 million from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This grant will support the work of the recently formed WisPQC (Wisconsin Perinatal Quality Collaborative), to implement a multi-year, statewide quality improvement initiative focused on identifying and managing women affected by opioids during pregnancy and infants affected by maternal opioid use. To implement these new initiatives, WisPQC will utilize the existing data infrastructure of PeriData.Net® (PDN), used by 72 of Wisconsin’s 97 birth hospitals and capturing approximately 85% of deliveries.
